What do we do?

Do we start and end at the same place?

Where do we park?

The Classic Savor and Stroll tour is designed to highlight the rich history of Morristown. It's a stroll, not a race, but we do move around paced to reach all our destinations at specific times.  The tastings are spaced out throughout the tour and for most people the food adds up to a hearty lunch meal or light dinner. The Savor, Sip and Shop tour includes food and wine tasting as well as several shopping stops. The route is designed with discounted specialty and boutique shopping and enough food to keep you going and enjoying the day!

The Classic tour starts at the corner of Washington and Court Streets, Morristown, NJ and ends on South Street about 2 blocks from the start.

The Savor, Sip and Shop route starts outside Colly Flowers and Pierogies House at 143/145 Morris Street Morristown, NJ just across from the train station. The tour ends about 1/2 mile from the start. There is a parking lot approximately 1/2 way between the start and finish, off Morris and Wilmont.

For the Classic Savor and Stroll Tour, the most convenient parking is available at the Ann Bank Garage (41 Bank St, accessible from Bank Street or Schuyler Place). Parking is also available at the DeHart Street Garage or in other public garages in Morristown.

For the Savor Sip and Shop Tour, the best place to park is in the garage at DeHart Street which is close to the “finishing line”. It’s about 1/2 mile walk to the starting point.

Street parking is NOT recommended because meter time is limited and the tour may not pass the meter for you to add time to your meter.

What about the weather?

Tours are scheduled rain or shine, but if the weather is truly extreme and unsafe, the tour operator may elect to cancel the tour.  In that event, you would be offered an opportunity to reschedule or get a refund. The tour is primarily out of doors, so dressing appropriately for the weather is highly recommended so you truly enjoy the day!

What should I bring? What is included?

You might like to bring a water bottle, especially in warmer weather.  All food is included and a cold beverage is provided at one stop.

Both tours include a few opportunities to shop and purchase an adult beverage, so you might need extra cash or a credit card.  Shopping on the Savor, Sip and Shop tour is part of the tour, so plan your budget accordingly and bring cash or a credit card!

Since the owner is the operator, tips while appreciated, are not expected or required.

Is this tour good for families, those with physical limitations or those needing dietary restrictions?

Are refunds available?

The Classic Savor and Stroll tour is best for ages 12 through adulthood.  It would likely be difficult for children ages 2-11. Newborns and those likely to be happy in a carrier or stroller should be fine, and there is no charge for them, but please alert us so we can plan accordingly.  The Savor, Sip and Shop tour is for those 21 and over, however, bridal parties with teens can be accommodated.

The tour can be slightly modified for those using a wheelchair, the route and most stops are accessible but some stops may be difficult to maneuver.  Some terrain is uneven but could be managed.

With advanced notice (at least 4 days) we'll do our best to accommodate special dietary needs within the limitations of our partners.

Private family or group tours can be arranged, pricing and venues will vary slightly.  Please contact Kathleen for more information.

Refunds up to 7 days prior are available. Within 7 days, re-scheduling is possible up to noon on the day before your tour.  After noon on the day before the event, food is ordered and other potential customers are turned away if a tour is full, so a refund or rescheduling is not possible.

In the event the tour operator cancels for inclement weather or low participation (under 4 people), a refund or rescheduling will be available.
