What do we do?

Do we start and end at the same place?

Where do we park?

The Classic Savor and Stroll tour is designed to highlight the rich history of Morristown. It's a stroll, not a race, but we do move around paced to reach all our destinations at specific times.  The tastings are spaced out throughout the tour and for most people the food adds up to a hearty lunch meal or light dinner. The Savor, Sip and Shop tour includes food and wine tasting as well as several shopping stops. The route is designed with discounted specialty and boutique shopping and enough food to keep you going and enjoying the day!

The Classic tour starts at the corner of Washington and Court Streets and ends on South Street about 2 blocks from the start.

The Savor, Sip and Shop route is still being designed!

Convenient parking is available at the Ann Bank Garage (41 Bank St, accessible from Bank Street or Schuyler Place). Parking is also available at the DeHart Street Garage or in other public garages in Morristown.  Street parking is NOT recommended because meter time is limited and the tour may not pass the meter for you to add time to your meter.

What about the weather?

Tours are scheduled rain or shine, but if the weather is truly extreme and unsafe, the tour operator may elect to cancel the tour.  In that event, you would be offered an opportunity to reschedule or get a refund.

What should I bring? What is included?

You might like to bring a water bottle, especially in warmer weather.  All food is included and a cold beverage is provided at one stop.

Both tours include a few opportunities to shop and purchase an adult beverage, so you might need extra cash or a credit card.  Since the owner is the operator, tips while appreciated, are not expected or required.

Is this tour good for families, those with physical limitations or those needing dietary restrictions?

The tour is best for ages 12 through adulthood.  It would likely be difficult for children ages 2-11. Newborns and those likely to be happy in a carrier or stroller should be fine, and there is no charge for them, but please alert us so we can plan accordingly.

The tour can be slightly modified for those using a wheelchair, the route and most stops are accessible but some stops may be difficult to maneuver.  Some terrain is uneven but could be managed.

With advanced notice (at least 4 days) we'll do our best to accommodate special dietary needs within the limitations of our partners.

Private family or group tours can be arranged, pricing and venues will vary slightly.  Please contact Kathleen for more information.
